Lisa and I had the pleasure of photographing Kelle and Brandon’s wedding in Americus Georgia this weekend.
The weather wasn’t very cooperative – but the entire event turned out phenomenal! The bad weather might have hurt the morale of a normal bride, but Kelle was completely unphased! Everything went almost according to plan. Kelle and her mother Elaine handled any unexpected challenges with grace, and a smile on their faces.
Here’s a slide show featuring some of their images:
The wedding took place at the historic First Presbyterian Church in Americus. What a beautiful church!
You may kiss the bride…
The Reception was held at the historic Lee Council House. These stained glass windows were just one of the many amazing features of the home.
The Father / Daughter dance is always one of our favorite moments of the reception…
This passage from the Book of Ruth was used in Brandon’s proposal to Kelle…
Brandon and Kelle with their Bridal Party (it finally stopped raining!) :
Hard to beat a group of Bridesmaids up for pretty much any suggestion for a photo!
Thanks for letting us be a part of your special day guys! We’ll have some great images for you when you get back from your honeymoon!
In spite of the rain, it was a beautiful day and a beautiful start to Brandon and Kelle’s lives together as husband and wife. Kelle was radiant, and we are happy she is now officially a part of our family!
Nicely done! I like how the one bride’s maid is not letting go of her bouquet! That is priceless! At first I thought you staged it in the 5th shot, but it’s evident in the 6th.
Gas to travel to Americus, GA from Anderson, SC…$76
Umbrella to shelter from the rain…$15
The joy of being at Brandon and Kelle’s wedding…priceless!!
These pictures are great! I look forward to seeing the complete album.
Hey, I left that bouquet at the church and some very sweet lady found me at the reception to give it to me. So, I thought the least I could do is not lose it again! 😉 [says the bridesmaid still holding the bouquet.] Great photos! It was a lovely day, and Kelle is possibly the most graceful bride I’ve ever seen!
