Christa and Jamie – Wedding – Douglas Georgia

We had the distinct pleasure to be in Douglas on the 31st of May – photographing the wedding of Jamie and Christa at the beautiful First Baptist Church (geek comment ~ this church rocks it out with the A/V equipment suite ~ booyah!)    While Saturday afternoon was perfect weather for a wedding in South Georgia (aside from the surface of the sun heat), the evening brought a summer shower.  Never once did Christa or Jamie dispair.  They faced every challenge like the team they were destined to be!

Here are some images from their day!

The installation/insertion of the veil (this sucker was huge… it needed it’s own zip code!)

I truly appreciate the multitude of brides who have shown their allegiance to Georgia State over the last two months.  Christa continues this fine tradition:

Quite a few of our brides and grooms opt to see each other before the wedding.  This is great since it allows for extra photo opportunities.  It also allows the groom to check out things.  Here Jamie checks out the *cough*caboose*cough* (or the veil – for sure… totally).

As I’ve often stated, it’s hard to beat the Father/Daughter dance:

Christa and Jamie are currently in the Islands for their Honeymoon.  You kids have a great time – your full gallery will be ready next week.
