Katie and Curt ~ Wedding ~ Fitzgerald, Ga.

We hope everyone is having a wonderful Memorial Day holiday weekend! Please be sure to take a moment to reflect and honor our nation’s troops for their service and sacrifices throughout our history.

Last Saturday, Lisa and I started out on the trip to Fitzgerald with a blue sky filled with wonderous white clouds and no hint of rain. By the time we reached the Salon where Katie and her ladies were getting ready – it was raining like crazy! Katie and Curt bravely soldiered on and still walked down the aisle on time! Here are some images from their day…

I’ve mentioned them before, and I made sure to document it this time – behold the wild chickens of Fitzgerald! Dangerous and feral. Known man-eaters. The tiny ones are the real killers…

Wonderful plumage on those chickens. Speaking of wonderful plumage on chicks – check out Katie’s dress (What? Sure Lisa is rolling her eyes – but that was an awesome segway. Just admit it).

Katie braving the rain to go see Curt for their First Look…

Getting the guys to coordinate some air time was like herding cats. I’ll let you guess how many images make up this composite… 😉

Here’s a series of Katie with her Dad just before he walked her down the aisle. We love how he made her relax and laugh!

Dad brings Katie to Curt…

The Church was beautiful, and filled with loved ones and guests…

Told you the rain didn’t dampen their spirits…

The kiss…

Walking down the aisle. Almost looks like Curt is breathing a sigh of relief, doesn’t it?

It finally stopped raining right after the ceremony – so we were able to get some quick shots before heading to the reception…

The bling…

The awesomeness of Katie and Curt. Just stylin’….

We always have the most beautiful brides. Word.

A recreation of one of the images from their engagement shoot back in October…

The reception was one massive party. The following are just a small sampling from that event. We really love this series with Curt and his mom.

Katie busted some serious moves herself…

The night ended with a Sparkler exit, and a ride off into the night…

Katie sent us a sweet text message a day after their wedding, thanking us for our professionalism during the chaos caused by the rain. We feel ya. Now quit texting during your honeymoon or Curt will get angry!

You kids have a great time! Your full gallery should be up by next week!

Wow!! As I have always said, Tony, you are really talented. Katie & Curt look amazing. I checked my blackberry at 5:30 this morning to find out the pics were up, so I got up and I was not dissapointed. Can’t wait to see the entire gallery.
