Candence and Josh ~ Wedding ~ First Baptist Church of Valdosta

Greetings!

Last Saturday, Lisa and I photographed the wedding of Josh and Candence at First Baptist Church, here in Valdosta! The day started off raining – but cleared up by the time we started shooting. The Hesters and Lowes really know how to throw a party. It was an amazing day!

Let’s check out some teasers from the wedding, yes? (too much Gordan Ramsey viewing…)

Candence girding up for the ceremony with assistance from her Mom and ladies…

The council debates the exact placement of the veil…

Candence’s Mom and Dad seeing her in her full gown. Serious waterworks in the room (yes, Lisa too).

Candence and Josh opted for a First Look. The weather kept us inside – but that helped to keep the First Look much more private…

Josh’s reaction….

A classic portrait of the couple…

A group shot of Josh and his Groomsmen (Jeremy, Chad, Bobby,  Sammy, and Bo).

A shot of the girls showing off for Josh (yes – Josh is looking at Candence off camera for help).

The entire bridal party. Special thanks to Kim for keeping Lisa and I from being hit by a truck while getting this shot!

When not being a groomsmen, Jeremy Ezell likes to moonlight as a very talented singer. He is seriously good.  Check him out.

A sweet moment between Alan and Candence before he walks her down the aisle…

Josh watching Candence walk down the aisle…

A quick kiss on the cheek from Dad…

First Baptist is such a beautiful Church.

Candence bustin’ out some bling placement!

Everyone always likes shots of the kiss… I really dig the expressions on the couples face’s just before they kiss.

Alright – so you want the actual kiss… Props to Lisa for a great capture!

July 18th also happened to be Alan and Angela’s 24th Wedding Anniversary. Unknown to Angela, Alan set up a Rededication of Vows ceremony to take place as Candence and Josh walked up the aisle… Needless to say – she was very surprised. 😉

We’ll call this image:  “WHAT THE…?”

Angela might hurt me if I put the more emotional images on the blog – so I’m playing it safe here…

So, after all the eyes had dried – it was time to party at the reception! Candence and Josh during their first dance…

You know Alan was going to bust out some dance moves after that Rededication surprise…

A shot of Josh and his Mom Laura during the Mother/Son Dance…

We were able to snag the couple for a few more romantic shots before the end of the night…

Candence got some serious hang time with her bouquet toss…

You’ve got to love Josh’s expression here…

We’ve been doing a lot of sparkler exits this year – Candence and Josh busted out the Bubble Exit on us!

Josh and Candence are currently relaxing in Jamaica…  Your full gallery will be up next week guys, once Lisa and I get back from Vacation!

  • I love the pics of downtown Valdosta, especially the one in front of the brick wall, and the one of the entire wedding party in the crosswalk. Awesome!

Tony did a great, great, great, job. I am glad I do not have to pick. I would want them all.
What a beautiful bride and a handsome groom.
