Kimberly and Chase are getting married next year – and they’re going to help us create one of the coolest shots we’ve ever done for a wedding! We had a great time with them, shooting around the big metropolis of Ray City for their engagement session. Let’s take a peak at some favorites!

Mallory and Ben | Moultrie Engagement Session

Hi All!

Meet Mallory and Ben! They invited us out to Ben’s family farm in Moultrie where we got to shoot a classic WWII era Willy’s Jeep, see Mallory bust out the awesome at the top of an old barn, and then finish up the session in a cotton field at twilight. It was a very cool day! Here are some images from their session!

Meet Dannielle and Shawn!

An unconvential couple. Rejecting the prevailing paradigm of traditional engagement photos – these two crazy kids asked us to take all of their images without them facing the camera. Not a shy glance, not a smile, not a canoodle at any time facing the camera. We were shocked. What would their parents say? What would happen to society as a whole if all of our couples decided to stop any shots where they face the camera? I’m telling you – it’s the end times. Dogs and Cats living together. Chaos!

So – presenting our first non-facing the camera engagement session:

Betsy & Victor | Engagement Session – Live Oak Florida.

Seeking different adventures than what the wilds of Valdosta could offer – we set forth for Live Oak Florida to meet Victor and Betsy at a lake / pond /swamp-like place (which, ironically, we have nothing like that here in Valdosta).

The rickety dock was worth the trip! Betsy and Victor (and Betsy’s mom) showed us all a great time, and we had a blast shooting them! Their venue looks awesome, and they definitely know how to have a good time - we’re looking forward to October!

Christi and Nolan | Engagement Session Valdosta, Ga.

Meet Christi and Nolan! As with all of our sessions the last couple of months – if it starts with sun shine… it ends with a unexpected rain storm. They both handled the heat, and then the sudden downpour with grace.

We’ve got some awesome ideas for shots for their wedding in November – we can’t wait! Here are some shots from their session…

I’ll be honest – we seriously dig Christi’s shoes – they match her ring (and personality) perfectly. I’m hoping she busts them out at the wedding!

Amanda and Daniel | Engagement at Cypress Pond Plantation in Albany Georgia

Hi All!

Amanda and Daniel rocked it when we met up with them at the lovely Cypress Pond Plantation in Albany. We didn’t get much time with them before it rained – but we went all over the property! I suspect Daniel is going to agree to one of my crazy set-ups for their wedding – here’s hoping Amanda can be convinced (along with Lisa)! Let’s take a peak at some images from their session!

Maghan and Danny | Engagement at Carrabelle Beach, Florida.

Howdy!

Still trying to catch up on blogging! Meet Maghan and Danny! Eschewing the familiar trappings of Tallahassee – they boldly suggested a beach engagment session that Lisa and I were immediately down for! We met up at Carrabelle Beach – all of us completely surprised – because the place was packed. We’ve shot a lot of weddings on St. George Island and have passed through Carrabelle often – it’s always been deserted. Always. Not so much on the day of the session.

Kristy and Robert | Engagement Session in Lakeland Georgia…

Kristy and Robert braved the 100 degree heat to shoot with us last weekend. Aside from being great sports and being up for anything – they didn’t complain at all for being stuck in the heat while I set up lights and muttered about ratios. Thankfully, their wedding should be much cooler due to it taking place this fall at Alycone Plantation. Here are some shots from their session…
