Hi All,

Meet Annie and Mike!  They tied the knot last Saturday at the very lovely and historic Faith Chapel on Jekyll Island.  Located on the grounds of the Jekyll Island Club, the chapel features some amazing stained glass.  This was a destination wedding for Mike and Annie (they’re from Wisconsin and Illinois) , with guests arriving from all over the U.S.   With Terrica of Cocktailsdetails running the event - things ran smoothly, and everyone had a great time!

Here are some shots from Annie and Mike’s wedding day.  We also have some images from their Day After Session at Driftwood Beach.  Special props to Annie’s mom for not yelling at us as soon as Annie got into the Atlantic while wearing her wedding dress.

Hi All,

Another week ~ and another fantastic wedding!  I wanted to post these last week, but the commercial shoots, and Easter, have put us slightly behind.  Jessica and John should be coming back from their Costa Rican honeymoon this week – so I definitely wanted them up ASAP!  Let’s take a peak at some images from their day…

Lisa and I have shot a lot of weddings – what stood out for us at Jessica and John’s wedding was that their first act as a joined couple, before God, was to offer their friends and family Holy Communion.

As you can see, everyone participated!

What made it even more special was that John’s grandmother (who had just turned 100 years old) made it to their wedding.  John and Jessica walked to her so that she wouldn’t have to get up.

And of course – the Kiss.  John made sure the kiss “took”.  This was the third one I believe.  You’ll notice everyone cracking up…

The reception was pretty darn awesome!  Dig the Dog with the Duck topper for the Groom’s Cake!

Everyone danced at this party!   Even with a floor full of people – Jessica and John still managed to have their own private moment…

Did I mention the Dancing?  Seriously.  Everyone danced.  John did a special dance we promised to not put up on the blog… I honor my word, yo.

Salutations Blog Peeps!

Wedding season continues – with another fantastic wedding from last weekend!  Say “howdy” to Melissa and Brandon who got married last Saturday at the lovely Sundown Farms Plantation in Moultrie, Georgia.   Let’s scope out some images from the wedding!

Last Saturday, Lisa and I (and Seth!) – busted a move, and traveled to Savannah to shoot Jessica and John’s engagement session, along with a ultra-awesome bridal session with Jessica in Forsyth Park.  Some of these images are large (bask in their glory) – so this blog post might take a bit to load (even on a fast connection).  

An almost required (by law) couple shot by the fountain in Forsyth Park.  Interesting note - we ran into the Savannah Wedding Police during our Bridal shoot here (along with about 80 photographers).  It’s an interesting city. 

This was near the end of a long day of shooting – and they still look fab.

Last Saturday, Lisa and I shot the wedding of Natalie and Bill. You couldn’t ask for nicer weather to get married in. The venue was beautiful, the couple’s family and friends were awesome, and there was some serious dancing going on at the reception.

One note – Natalie and Bill, and their friends and families are, well, not from the South. I know. I was shocked too. The tea (un-sweetened), the accents, and well – the fondness for polka music were some of my big clues. I don’t care – these people know how to party! And dance! And well ~ party and dance at the same time! What an awesome wedding! Let’s look at some images, eh?

The wedding had all kinds of interested spectators.  Bill was quite calm.

The ceremony took place just above the beach.  The breeze was pretty darn awesome!

That cool wind played havoc with lighting the unitiy candle… but they got through it – together (ahh!)

The reception started with toasts… and then the dancing started!

Bill and his Mom busted some moves to the Beer Barrel Polka…   She’s either doing some serious air guitar, or a big fan of heavy metal…

Then Natalie’s brother – known as the “Infamous BP” busted out some moves to Thriller to set the tone for the rest of the night…

Then Natalie’s uncles had a dance off – even Natalie’s Grandmother had a hard time keeping from laughing at one of her son’s “moves”….

Instead of a normal bouquet toss – Natalie had a Dance Off to win the bouquet!

Some serious dancing went down on that floor!

We managed to sneak them away before the end of the night for some more romantic shots…

I first met Bob when he stopped by our retail store out on Bemiss Road a couple of years ago looking for gaming products.   Bob’s a fine gamer – but more importantly for the point of this blog post – he’s an amazingly talented Tattoo artist.

Bob and I wanted to photograph some of his work  - so he lined me up with some willing models.  Thanks to Brett Darby,  Adalberto Diaz, and Becky Lockwood for posing for these.  We learned a lot about Body Butter during this shoot…
