Meet Annie and Mike!  They tied the knot last Saturday at the very lovely and historic Faith Chapel on Jekyll Island.  Located on the grounds of the Jekyll Island Club, the chapel features some amazing stained glass.  This was a destination wedding for Mike and Annie (they’re from Wisconsin and Illinois) , with guests arriving from all over the U.S.   With Terrica of Cocktailsdetails running the event - things ran smoothly, and everyone had a great time!

Christie and Matt got married at the fabulous Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomasville, Georgia. Temps soared to 105 degrees during the day – but Matt and Christie stayed cool. Even surface-of-the-sun heat couldn’t stop this wedding! The party started at noon – and lasted late into the night. This wedding was also a kind of a reunion for us, as we had photographed Christie’s twin sister’s wedding back in November of 2009. It was great seeing everyone in the Heard family again ~ along with some new additions to their family!

Justin and Ashlie’s wedding day started out bright and sunny. Blue skies full of fluffy white clouds. That all changed about 15 minutes before we started to shoot!

Mother Nature decided that a small bit of rain (read that as a flood) was needed that afternoon – but Ashlie and Justin, and their entire group of families and friends still rocked it! Here are some images from their day:

Ashleigh and Heath tied the knot at Alcyone Plantation in May.  It was a beautiful day – but the heat was intense!  That didn’t stop them ~ or their guests ~ from having a great wedding, and an even more exciting reception!  Seriously, Ashleigh and Heath (and their friends) know how to party.  That reception rocked long into the night (far after we left I’m sure).  The band, and the beautiful venue made for a great party atmosphere!  Let’s take a peak at some images from their day!

Today on the old blog-o-love, we take a peak at the wedding of Laramee and Matt.   With wedding season – I’m running about a week behind on popping up blog posts – so my sincere apologies for the delay!  It was a great wedding, everyone had a good time, and the AC worked in the Church and Fellowship Hall!   People – it was hot!  We were worried about Laramee melting in her dress!  Here are some images from their day!

Whitney and Merlin’s wedding last Saturday was wonderful! Highgrove Farm is always beautiful – but was especially lovely this time of year with all the trees, flowers, and grass in full growth mode (meaning ~ eveything was vibrant and green)! Lisa and I got the chance to catch up with past wedding clients (we’re sorry we missed you Candence and Josh!), debate what exactally is the best George Clinton song with the band, and photograph two people seriously in love. Let’s check out some images from their day!

Wedding Season continues it’s onward march from April – now busting into May with full force. Hang on, as we’ll have weddings for you to look at every week until late August when we finally get a break!

Let’s talk about Joelle and Brent. They were married at the lush Gin Creek on April 25, 2010. Perfect weather, a beautiful venue, and some good looking people gettine married – it’s a photo op waiting to happen (happily, we just happen to be wedding photographers – so, it was like, totally awesome that we just happened to be there). I’m just sayin’.

Another fantastic wedding to post on the ‘ole Blog-o-Love.  Emily and Clint tied the knot in Douglas last weekend.  Considering the turn out (both at the Church and Reception) - people seriously love these two crazy kids.  You can number Lisa and I in that camp.  ;-)

Another mysterious Sorority Candle Ceremony at a Wedding.   It was all done to Alien Ant Farm’s cover of MJ’s “Smooth Criminal”.  (Well… maybe).

Time to post another fran-friggin’-tastic wedding up here on the ole blog-o-love!  Meet Meghan and David – one of the nicest couple of people you could ever hope to meet.  We traveled to the great state of South Carolina last week to photograph their wedding.   The weather was perfect (clear blue skies), nice breezes, and everything was in bloom.  You know, they call Valdosta the Azalea City… well, Bluffton gives V-town a run for it’s title.   All in all, an ideal day and setting for a beautiful wedding.  Need proof ?  On to the images…  (fair warning, some of these are large and may take a while to load on non-broadband connections).

Meghan’s dress had wonderful detailing; with a classic silhouette (perhaps I’ve been watching too much Project Runway?).

Quick note.  Most Catholic churchs force the photographers to stay in the back of the church.  Lisa and I would like to thank Father Cellini for letting Lisa get closer to the front.  If not, she wouldn’t have been able to capture this private smile shared between Meghan and David at the altar.
