Wedding Season continues it’s onward march from April – now busting into May with full force. Hang on, as we’ll have weddings for you to look at every week until late August when we finally get a break!

Let’s talk about Joelle and Brent. They were married at the lush Gin Creek on April 25, 2010. Perfect weather, a beautiful venue, and some good looking people gettine married – it’s a photo op waiting to happen (happily, we just happen to be wedding photographers – so, it was like, totally awesome that we just happened to be there). I’m just sayin’.

Anyway – let’s dig into the photo goodness from Joelle and Brent’s Day!

Hi All,

We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I had hoped to have this blog post up before the holiday – but Turkey induced coma defeated me!

Last Saturday we shot the fantastic wedding of Francie and Greg out at Gin Creek.  Leading up to the wedding, all the forecasts called for rain – but the chance dropped down to 10% on the day of the wedding.  That’s hard to beat! The day went off without a hitch – and Greg and Francie are now currently relaxing in Jamaica on their honeymoon!  Let’s take a peak at some images from their day!

Salutations Mighty Blog Stalkers!

Last Saturday (Halloween) – Lisa and I shot the wedding of Cam and Erin at Gin Creek in Bay Georgia. It started out sunny, then rained, then turned sunny, and then rained again. Mother Nature was messing with us. That’s fine – Cam and Erin rocked it anyway! How about some images from their day?

Not to be outdone – Dylan needed a shot with Cam too (who am I kidding – if there are cute kids – Lisa zeros in on ‘em and wants tons of pictures. Ethan and Dylan filled up the cute quotient on Saturday). Yes, Erin thinks Cam is cute too. But come on – look at Ethan and Dillon!

This past Sunday, we returned to the wonderful Gin Creek to photograph Angie and Clifton’s wedding.    Talk about a super sweet couple of kids.   Like all weddings, things didn’t go according to plan – but everyone worked together to make it an incredible day! 

Angie also scored huge points with me ~ I’ll tell more about that at the end of this post.

After a very long day – Angie and Clifton’s first dance as Husband and Wife…

And yet another bride presents Tony with his own personal kryptonite – the Candy Bar.   Why must they torment me so?

So, how did Angie score points with me?  Well, Sunday was a long day for everyone – but it was also my birthday.  Angie found out and had the DJ embarrass me beyond belief.  It was a real sweet gesture that I appreciated greatly. 

Well, now (three days later), I appreciate it.

I first met Staci and Joe Kirkland at their wedding (April 2007) at Gin Creek, while second shooting for the rockin’  Moultrie based photographers Carrie and Phil Viohl.     Since that time, the Kirklands have been responsible for a multitude of referrals – which we greatly appreciate.  It’s always cool when people dig your work!   

Joe and Staci are an incredibly fun couple, with a really great outlook on life.  It’s no surprise that their extended family shares the same traits.  After an adventure in getting to Ochlocknee (one of the few places in Georgia we had never been) – we had the pleasure of photographing the Kirkland family on a beautiful Sunday morning.   Being that we were both still tired from shooting Kim’s wedding the night before… I completely forgot model releases ~ so you’ll only be seeing Joe and Staci in this post.  We’ll see everyone again later this year at Christmas time… I promise I’ll remember them then!
