Check out this amazing wedding on Jekyll Island with Sarah and Fritz at the Beachview Club.  I’m not going to dissemble – Lisa and I were somewhat freaked out when we arrived on Jekyll – the entire island was covered in smoke from the fires down in Florida (and the current fires in the Okefenokee aren’t helping either right now).   Happily, the ocean breeze kicked in, blew most of the smoke in-land, and we were able to get some awesome shots.  The particulate matter in the air actually helped accentuate the blue in quite a few of these shots (no photoshop) – so it’s a win-win as far as I’m concerned.   Let’s check out some shots from Sarah and Fritz’s day…

Hi All,

Meet Annie and Mike!  They tied the knot last Saturday at the very lovely and historic Faith Chapel on Jekyll Island.  Located on the grounds of the Jekyll Island Club, the chapel features some amazing stained glass.  This was a destination wedding for Mike and Annie (they’re from Wisconsin and Illinois) , with guests arriving from all over the U.S.   With Terrica of Cocktailsdetails running the event - things ran smoothly, and everyone had a great time!

Here are some shots from Annie and Mike’s wedding day.  We also have some images from their Day After Session at Driftwood Beach.  Special props to Annie’s mom for not yelling at us as soon as Annie got into the Atlantic while wearing her wedding dress.

Hi All!

Last Saturday we finally got to meet Natalie (and Bill)! I’ve held a running email conversation with Natalie for pretty much a solid year now – getting ready for their redonkulus wedding on Jekyll Island this October! Sounds like it’s going to be packed with friends and family! Even better – they’re down for Driftwood Beach, and other scenic sights on the Island that make a photographer’s life easy to bust out the awesome.

And yes, I used the word redonkulus.

Natalie and Bill arrived just before it started to rain in Valdosta – but they were still up for the shoot. Good thing that they’re very cool people – because we ended up getting lost going to a new location to shoot.

Anyway – here are some shots from their session…

Last Saturday had us traveling to Jekyll Island to photograph the wedding of Kim and Andrew.  Yep, another Kim and Andrew.   Much like our couple from last week  - Kim and Andrew brought it, and rocked it out on their wedding day!  Their celebration was packed with friends and family, and took place on the beach.

Since this was a destination wedding, Kim and Andrew secured the services of the fabulous Ashley Lavallee, of Events by Caroline to run the show.   Ashley also rocked the day in her own special way – making every effort to provide us with the photo opportunities/locations that we wanted. 

So, let’s take a look at some images from their day!
