Yep – another awesome engagement session in Savannah, Georgia! Kellie and Brandon are pretty darn cool – mainly because they’ve already agreed to a Call of Duty shoot during their wedding. Well, let me clear that up – Brandon was down for it… and Kellie okayed it as long as we came up with something as equally cool for her and the girls.

We wondered around River Street, Forsyth Park, and some seedy alley ways Lisa liked for this session. It was freezing – but look ‘em.  All in love, and warmed by their passion (yeah, I wrote it).

Last Saturday, Clan Harrell traveled to the city of Savannah. We love Savannah. Lisa is ready to move there – she hates when we have to leave. She didn’t mind leaving the cold too much this time.

We met Shelley and Brandon at their favorite coffee shop just around the corner from Forsyth Park early Saturday morning. The cold didn’t faze them – heck, they dropped their jackets to get the shots anytime we asked! That peeps… is pure dedication. Let’s take a look at a few images from their session…

What up Blog Peeps?

You might remember Beth and Josh from their engagement session posted on the blog in January. You know – back when it was cold. Ah, those golden days when it was cold! It was not cold last Saturday when they got married in Savannah at the lovely Forsyth Park. It was beautiful though – the weather cooperated by not raining (there was a huge chance it would), tons of family/friends/people showed up, and four photographers got angry with us because our bride had the audacity to actually reserve access to the Fountain (she’s a smart girl). Let’s take a peak at some teasers from their wedding day!

Logan did another outstanding job as a ring bearer (his first gig was back in 2009 when he was 9 months old).  He made a few brief stops to say “Hi” to his peeps…

Another week ~ and another fantastic wedding!  I wanted to post these last week, but the commercial shoots, and Easter, have put us slightly behind.  Jessica and John should be coming back from their Costa Rican honeymoon this week – so I definitely wanted them up ASAP!  Let’s take a peak at some images from their day…

Lisa and I have shot a lot of weddings – what stood out for us at Jessica and John’s wedding was that their first act as a joined couple, before God, was to offer their friends and family Holy Communion.

As you can see, everyone participated!

What made it even more special was that John’s grandmother (who had just turned 100 years old) made it to their wedding.  John and Jessica walked to her so that she wouldn’t have to get up.

And of course – the Kiss.  John made sure the kiss “took”.  This was the third one I believe.  You’ll notice everyone cracking up…

The reception was pretty darn awesome!  Dig the Dog with the Duck topper for the Groom’s Cake!

Everyone danced at this party!   Even with a floor full of people – Jessica and John still managed to have their own private moment…

Did I mention the Dancing?  Seriously.  Everyone danced.  John did a special dance we promised to not put up on the blog… I honor my word, yo.

Last Saturday, Lisa and I (and Seth!) – busted a move, and traveled to Savannah to shoot Jessica and John’s engagement session, along with a ultra-awesome bridal session with Jessica in Forsyth Park.  Some of these images are large (bask in their glory) – so this blog post might take a bit to load (even on a fast connection).  

An almost required (by law) couple shot by the fountain in Forsyth Park.  Interesting note - we ran into the Savannah Wedding Police during our Bridal shoot here (along with about 80 photographers).  It’s an interesting city. 

This was near the end of a long day of shooting – and they still look fab.

Ya’ll did a great job. Special thanks to Mrs. Tucker for helping us lug all of our equipment around the city (on foot). She was a trooper! We can’t wait for March 27th!

I’m not a weather expert, but I’m going to go on record as saying that it might, just might, be friggin’ cold outside right now here in South Georgia. It sure was Saturday morning (I think around 38 degrees) when Beth and Josh had their engagement session. We had to carefully time shooting between bursts of arctic cold wind, and giving them some huddle time in their jackets. They still rocked it! (Sure, I might have ‘shopped out breath steam, red ears, penquins, etc – but they still did awesome!).
