Last weekend we shot Amanda and Daniel’s fabulous wedding at Gin Creek!  I’m running behind again on blog postings – so my apologies for those who have been waiting eagerly to see these teasers!  With that in mind – let’s get right to the images without any more waiting!

Kristy and Robert were married at Alcyone Plantation last weekend… and folks, these kids can throw down.

Seeking different adventures than what the wilds of Valdosta could offer – we set forth for Live Oak Florida to meet Victor and Betsy at a lake / pond /swamp-like place (which, ironically, we have nothing like that here in Valdosta).

The rickety dock was worth the trip!  Betsy and Victor (and Betsy’s mom) showed us all a great time, and we had a blast shooting them!  Their venue looks awesome, and they definitely know how to have a good time - we’re looking forward to October!

Meet Christi and Nolan!   As with all of our sessions the last couple of months – if it starts with sun shine… it ends with a unexpected rain storm.   They both handled the heat, and then the sudden downpour with grace.

We’ve got some awesome ideas for shots for their wedding in November – we can’t wait!  Here are some shots from their session…

I’ll be honest – we seriously dig Christi’s shoes – they match her ring (and personality) perfectly.  I’m hoping she busts them out at the wedding!

Still trying to catch up on blogging! Meet Maghan and Danny! Eschewing the familiar trappings of Tallahassee – they boldly suggested a beach engagment session that Lisa and I were immediately down for! We met up at Carrabelle Beach – all of us completely surprised – because the place was packed. We’ve shot a lot of weddings on St. George Island and have passed through Carrabelle often – it’s always been deserted. Always. Not so much on the day of the session.

Jaime and Matthew had a very romantic and intimate wedding at the Ravine here in Valdosta. Things sometimes go wrong at weddings – and the weather went slightly wrong at this one.

It poured! Seriously – we needed the rain – but none of us were expecting the virtual flood that arrived just before their ceremony started! Thankfully, the Ravine was able to accommodate a covered wedding on the back porch. Everything proceeded normally until the reception – when most of Valdosta lost power! Showing outstanding grace and poise, Jaime and Matthew rocked their reception, cut their cake, and then drove over to Austin’s to finish off the rest of the reception! Let’s take a peak at some shots from their wedding!

Can I say it?  Ashli and Josh rocked it for a second time.  Their engagement session with Nemo was pretty neat – but these crazy kids busted out all the moves for their wedding last weekend at the Little River Plantation in Ashburn Georgia!  Nemo didn’t make it for the wedding (I lamented to Lisa about sooo many missed photo ops – the dog is gold folks) – we still managed to get a few good shots.   Let’s take a peak at some, shall we?

Hi All,

Meet Jessica and James!  A plucky young couple who are very calm and collected, and aren’t fazed at all – say for instance when their photographer completely screws up the directions going to a shoot location (just down the road) and has them all end up in Florida.   I would like to blame Lisa… but I got completely lost.

Anyway, James and Jessica are getting married in February 2011, and we have the honor of shooting their wedding!   Let’s take a quick peek at some shots from their session!

[  James is a natural model.  He was bustin' out a new look everytime I clicked the shutter.  I honestly just stood back and watched him work in awe.  Epic.   Jessica?  She's no James,  but she did alright.   ]

What up Blog Peeps?

You might remember Beth and Josh from their engagement session posted on the blog in January. You know – back when it was cold. Ah, those golden days when it was cold! It was not cold last Saturday when they got married in Savannah at the lovely Forsyth Park. It was beautiful though – the weather cooperated by not raining (there was a huge chance it would), tons of family/friends/people showed up, and four photographers got angry with us because our bride had the audacity to actually reserve access to the Fountain (she’s a smart girl). Let’s take a peak at some teasers from their wedding day!

Logan did another outstanding job as a ring bearer (his first gig was back in 2009 when he was 9 months old).  He made a few brief stops to say “Hi” to his peeps…

Hi All!

Justin and Ashlie’s wedding day started out bright and sunny. Blue skies full of fluffy white clouds. That all changed about 15 minutes before we started to shoot!

Mother Nature decided that a small bit of rain (read that as a flood) was needed that afternoon – but Ashlie and Justin, and their entire group of families and friends still rocked it! Here are some images from their day:
